José Carvajal joined CHÉOS in June 2021 as a research assistant for Dr. Eugenia Oviedo-Joekes in the Program of Outcomes Research on Treatment with Injectables for Addiction (PORTIA) study. José holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Human Geography from the University of British Columbia and is currently working towards a Master of Arts degree in Geography at the University of British Columbia, focusing on environmental politics in the Arctic region.
