Dr. Jim Frankish is Director of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Centre for Health Promotion Research and an Endowed Professor at the UBC School of Population and Public Health.

Health Research Foundation, Healthway Foundation (Western Australia), the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the Public Health Association of B.C., the Canadian Public Health Association, and the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. He has played significant roles in over 120 research projects including many graduate studies, has had over 20 interdisciplinary students and working with students and colleagues from 34 disciplines.
