Jennifer Hawkins joined CHÉOS in July 2021 as a Community Research Assistant, providing support on the Fraser East Overdose Response (FEOR) project, and is currently Senior Project Manager, Community-Based Research. She has collaborated with Dr. Amy Salmon’s team since 2018, leveraging her position as a Community Health Specialist with Fraser Health to activate stakeholders around novel and relevant approaches towards addressing overdose in Chilliwack. Jennifer’s community development work is deeply rooted in her seminary training at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, where she earned her Master of Arts.
