In addition to cardiology, mental health, nephrology, critical care, and HIV research, our investigators undertake studies involving older adults and those who are critically or chronically ill, with the goal of reducing morbidity and mortality and enhancing quality of life. We do this in two main ways: by putting patients first and informing practice.
